HOW TO WRITE AN ESSAY

Writing an essay is similar to preparing a delicious sandwich with all the ingredients that make it attractive to the consumer´s taste. The same happens with an essay. There are some parts or constituents that give a special attractiveness to grab the reader´s attention. Each essay is made up of three main parts: an introduction, a body, and a concluding paragraph. To write an essay it is necessary to consider the following steps. First, the writer needs to have a clear idea about which topic he or she wants to focus on.  Once the writer is fascinated and motivated, he or she uses a pre-writing technique although some professional writers write as ideas come up to their mind. For beginners in this case, it is recommended to use a pre- writing technique. After several ideas have been collected to enrich the composition, the next step is to write the introduction which contains a hook and the thesis stament or main idea that will lead the reader through the passage. Once there is an introduction, the next step is to write the body which consists of two or more paragraph supporting the thesis statement. Each paragraph begins with a main idea sentence. Also it has several supporting sentences and details or examples to give more emphasis to the ideas. Finally, the writer wraps up the essay with the conclusion which reinforces the thesis stament using similar ideas.
